This place is ridiculous good. It was my first visit today. I had the bolognese parpadelle and a glass of Malbec. A perfect late lunch/ early dinner. The presentation on the plate was elegant. The taste was fesh and surprisingly light for a richer pasta dish. The wine was delicious to be paired with that meal. The bartender made that lovely suggestion in the wine, and I couldn't have been happier. The service was attentive and friendly. The place is gorgeous, but didn't feel stuffy as I was wearing very casual attire and didn't feel out of place. I will be back! Another score for Northland dinning. Yay!

Prima Facie Bistro is a gem! Dining here was a delightful experience. Both the pork chop and the salmon were absolutely excellent—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service was exceptional from start to finish. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a high-quality meal in a great setting. I’m already looking forward to coming back--soon and often! I returned to Prima Facie for another visit that exceeded expectations. The only suggestion I can make is to ensure the website menu is constantly updated to reflect the printed menus in the restaurant. I had my mouth set on something from the website that wasn't even on the printed menu. Ironically, the website would be easier to update than the printed menus.

We dined here for the first time yesterday and were very pleased. Lovely atmosphere, and unique menu. Several vegetarian options (actual menu choices: not just salad and sides like many places). Our appetizer, cocktails, dinner and dessert were all delicious! Highly recommend.

My first time at Prima Facie was a GREAT experience! Our waiter, Mark, was very kind and very attentive. He was very well versed with the food menu and especially with the wine selection. The food itself was impeccable! I had the free range chicken and it was some of the best chicken I have ever had. Prepared to perfection. My husband’s birthday was well spent here! The bistro steak was a stand out! The upstairs dining room has a cool overlook in the restaurant and there was a live pianist the night we dined. The espresso martinis are also delicious!

I saw this had just opened and talked my wife into going there. We loved it. The food was great. Our server was attentive. The drinks were good. The only downside is parking is a premium in Parkville.

My family of four seriously enjoyed this meal, it’s one of the best we have had in the KC area in almost 3 years. Great food, well priced, and they balanced a classy atmosphere with genuine warmth to our toddler and newborn. I can’t recommend this place enough.
