We tried the new restaurant in Parkville tonight called Prima. I haven’t eaten at this wonderful of a restaurant in years! Everything was perfect! The decor is absolutely beautiful! The food was amazing everything we had was absolutely perfect! The waitress was one of the best I have had in a long time! The bathroom was gorgeous!

I’ve eaten at both the market and the bistro and had wonderful meals every time. The build out is gorgeous and it looks lovely. Even the bathrooms were beautiful. Market: I’m not the hugest fan of krinkle cut fries but theirs are perfection! The sandwiches have fun/unique elements and are not basic or boring. My favorite is the turkey sammy with apricot preserves, pepadews, & brie on ciabatta! Bistro: We arrived without a reservation the friday before christmas, knowing it was unlikely we’d get in. The hostesses were smiling and helpful! The wait was about a hour but they kindly helped us get really lucky and let us know two seats had just opened up at the bar! Hannah, the bar manager, was wonderful, and whipped up a fabulous mocktail for me, off menu. As a wine professional who doesn’t drink, this is always so appreciated. Chef James’ food was great! We started with the steak tartare and power bowl, both delicious. My (chef) husband really loved the added touches made to the ingredients, like the pickled raisins, and the plethora of flavor in every bite. We also snagged a plate of fries because I had loved them in the market and wanted to have them again. For the entree, we split the acorn squash gnocchi and it was fabulous. For dessert we had the phyllo brownie and vanilla bean ice cream- A+. Overall, we will definitely go back, and we will recommend to friends! Thanks, Prima!

I stopped in for lunch after learning they had quiche on their market menu. I was not disappointed, it was wonderful. I’ve tried other places quiches and the crust is ruined by the establishment reheating in a microwave. Here, they use a high convection oven combined with minimal microwaves to heat the middle while preserving the flaky crust. They get extra points for keeping decaf brewed coffee on tap. The atmosphere was good acoustically, and pleasant with morning light coming in the wall of eastern facing windows. The tables were a little close together which made getting from my table to the self serve water area a little cumbersome.

Last Wednesday we ate at the new Prima Facie Bistro. Food, service, and atmosphere were spot-on. The trout and Salmon were excellent. A fantastic addition to Parkville. We will be coming back soon.

This drive through Prima Bistro was fantastic. I’ve never had a salad that was cold, and tasted so good. The veggies were cut perfectly. I had an avocado sandwich which was delicious. The help was very nice, offered my dogs pup cups which they loved. This is a 5 star restaurant and then some. This also my new go too.

Had a fabulous experience here! Came on a Saturday night and there was live piano music, which added so much to the experience. The food was really delicious and very fairly priced. I got the pork chop, deviled eggs and ravioli and would highly recommend!
